Improving Query Efficiency with Data Access Layers

We have meetings on the second Wednesday of every month.  In an ongoing attempt to make the content presented useful to our members we start each meeting with a short Q&A session.  Unless noted in the meeting notes the schedule for each meeting will be:

11:00 - 11:10 - General Q&A session & Announcements
11:10 - 11:50 - Presentation(s)
11:50 - 12:00 - Question & Answer session

From the comfort  of your desktop, you are able to join other SQL Server / Oracle enthusiasts that meet within this virtual forum  to resolve issues pertinent to their daily work lives and/or to learn from the myriad of people who merely enjoy relating  what they know, to others.

What are our goals?  To provide a conducive environment where through the use of online webinars( from both the SQL Server and Oracle Camps), web based  articles and cross product/ cross pollination of concepts and ideas, our members are  able to prosper and to pass the knowledge on to others.
Does this sound like something that would interest you, then please contact us. We would love to hear from you. Your thoughts and ideas are always welcome.
